Gleb Muzychka

With a Masters in Science degree and 20 years in the mortgage industry, including 5 years at Scotia Bank and 6 years at TD, I confidently believe I can assist most of my clients in securing the best deal, regardless of their financial situation. Fluent in more than 5 languages, I consistently find ways to communicate effectively with clients and understand which mortgage suits them best. I have a passion for investing in real estate and often share my insights on TV broadcasts and in newspapers. I enjoy the challenge of exploring new financial investment possibilities, even when clients think it’s beyond their financial reach. Udia Umoette

After personally facing the challenges of securing a mortgage as a new immigrant and a self-employed professional in the construction industry, I decided to channel my decades of experience in sales and partnerships into the mortgage sector. My goal is to assist individuals in understanding how to obtain funding tailored to their specific situations. With a background in the IT sector spanning both the United Kingdom and Canada, I am passionate about promoting inclusion and fostering partnerships with financial institutions. This passion led me to serve on the board of the Consumer Advisory Panel of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), where I work to address the challenges consumers may encounter with financial services. Deeply connected to my community, I have volunteered with organizations such as SickKids Hospital, Canadian Red Cross, Cerebral Palsy Initiatives, and the Richmond Hill Soccer Club. Outside of my professional and volunteer pursuits, I enjoy spending quality time with my kids, striving for a Victory Royale in our gaming adventures.

Elina Katkova

Since 2012, I’ve been a vital part of Benson Mortgages, taking on various roles including operations management and marketing, and currently serving as the IT director. With a PMP designation earned in June 2005 and a Master’s Program in Project Management from York University’s Schulich School of Business, I bring a wealth of management experience from top financial institutions. Over my 20 years in the field, I’ve led successful implementations in Communications, Infrastructure Release Management, and Configuration Change Control, including Client/Server CRM, Business Continuity, and Financial Products. My background spans both retail, with companies like Canadian Tire, Hydro One, Telus, and banking insurance sectors, where I’ve worked on large-scale multi-tier enterprise architecture implementations at TD, CIBC, Manulife, and Sunlife. I’ve grown, taken on new challenges, and embarked on quite the journey. At Benson Mortgages, it’s never a dull day!

Norman Grove

In 2013, I embarked on my fourth career at Benson after retiring from the education profession. In education, I taught Mathematics and Science and held various administrative roles. During that time, I pursued further education, studying accounting while teaching, and obtaining a BAS and MBA, in addition to my earlier BA in Economics and M.Ed. I hold English and Australian accounting designations and teach part-time at Seneca College. My career journey began as a pilot in my early twenties, followed by a transition to pursuing my CA with Touche-Ross before returning to teaching. In 2017, I upgraded my Agent license to Broker. My interests are particularly focused on construction mortgages, having arranged them from Windsor to White River, and handling residential transactions in Northern Ontario Towns and the Ottawa area. Although I reside in South Simcoe and Dufferin County, I am enthusiastic about assisting clients in the GTA, where I also live. With my background in education, I am especially drawn to clients involved in the education sector. Beyond work, I have contributed to the Stevenson Hospital Memorial Foundation in Alliston, serving as a director, treasurer for one year, and Vice-Chair for four years.

Anton Muzychka

I hold a BA in Applied Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. My career journey began as a Mobile Mortgage Specialist at TD Canada Trust before I transitioned to my current role as a Mortgage Broker, a position I’ve held since 2013. With a proven track record in the financial services industry, I bring a wealth of experience as a Mortgage Agent. My expertise spans banking, sales, team leadership, portfolio management, and business relationship management. Outside of work, I enjoy unwinding at the cottage with my family, taking in the serene surroundings and enjoying quality time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Oleg Alkhazov

I am the principal broker of Benson Mortgages. My journey in the Mortgage Business began in 2016, and I have been with Benson Mortgages throughout my entire career. I specialize in residential, commercial, and construction mortgages, and my priority is always ensuring my clients have the best and most seamless experience in obtaining their needed financing. I’ve successfully closed deals of all sizes, whether they be conventional or private, residential or commercial, easy or tough. Outside of work, I find joy in playing hockey and baseball, hitting the gym and watching mystery movies with my wife and our cat.

Jin Zhang

I have been an underwriter at Benson for over 12 years. I assess and evaluate loan applications to determine their risk level and eligibility for approval. I analyze financial documents, credit histories, and other relevant information to make informed decisions on whether to approve or deny mortgage applications. My primary objective is to ensure compliance with lending guidelines and mitigate potential risks for the brokerage. I work closely with loan officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary documentation and facilitate the underwriting process efficiently.

Artem Kopyl

In 2019, I embarked on my journey with Benson Mortgages as a part-time mortgage agent, leveraging my sales and IT background. By 2022, I transitioned to full-time dedication within the mortgage industry, driven by a commitment to delivering prompt and meticulous service to meet all clients’ financial requirements. Beyond work, I cherish moments with loved ones and indulge my passion for sports.
